Hugo Ekitike has addressed the competition in the striker department at Liverpool after he and Alexander Isak both moved to Anfield in big money moves this past summer.
Ekitike joined first in a £79m deal from Eintracht Frankfurt, before Isak finally completed a British record £125m deadline day move switch from Newcastle United.
Despite the Premier League holders now employing two of the league's top strikers, Liverpool supporters are yet to see the pair play together.
The two have mostly been substituted for one another since they have both been at the club, largely due to Isak not appearing fully match-fit yet and being unable to complete a full 90 minutes.
There has been much talk about how Arne Slot will be able to get the best out of his two new strikers when they eventually do share the pitch together, while still being able to maintain balance throughout the team.
Regarding Ekitike, many took his controversial celebration after scoring the winner in the Carabao Cup tie with Southampton as him letting it be known that he is still around despite the large hype around Isak's arrival.

The young Frenchman took off his shirt and held it up to show his name to the crowd, which led to him receiving a second yellow card and being sent off.

Ekitike talks competition with Isak at Liverpool
One the eve of Liverpool's Champions League tie away to Galatasaray on Tuesday night (September 30), Ekitike was asked how he feels about Isak being at the club and having to compete with him for opportunities on the pitch.
"I think it's good. We play at such a big club. I can't see one big club playing just with only one striker," the 23-year-old told reporters at the pre-match news conference.

Ekitike touched on the positives of having Isak as a fellow striker at the club, commenting: "From my age, I think I have still a lot of things to improve and learn, so for me it's good that he's here."
Some have suggested one of Liverpool's new striking pair may have to be forced out wide to accommodate them both at the same time, or drop a midfielder and go with two up top.
Others have raised doubts if the two can even play together at all at the same time, but Ekitike is happy to adapt and follow Slot's instructions, including having to play alongside Isak.
"The coach decide how he wants to play, not me. Obviously you know it's a great player (Isak)."
"I've been playing in a two-striker composition, one striker, so I can do a lot of things. If we have to play together, I can do that," the Frenchman explained.
Slot may deploy Ekitike and Isak for the first time against Galatasaray, as he may be called upon to utilise the pair together at a particular stage to get a positive result in Istanbul.
