Liverpool are heading back to the UK following their preseason tour of Hong Kong and Japan.
Arne Slot's defending Premier League champions jetted off for Asia on the back of routine friendly wins over Preston and Stoke City but they have endured mixed results on their travels.
A 4-2 loss to AC Milan in Hong Kong was followed up by a 3-1 fightback win against Yokohama F. Marinos in the J League World Challenge Cup.
Slot will have plenty to think about ahead his final summer warm up game, with a double-header of matches scheduled against La Liga side Athletic Club at Anfield on August 4.
The Dutch coach is still pondering a transfer push for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak to round of a sensational summer of spending which is currently totalling at £265m.
One of Slot's new faces has already played a key role in preseason, with Giorgi Mamardashvili starting three of their four games in July.

Liverpool agreed a deal to sign the Georgia international last summer, but Valencia requested to keep him for the 2024/25 campaign, with the 24-year-old landing on Merseyside in June.
Regular No.1 Alisson started the loss to AC Milan, in his sole appearance of preseason, and Slot has now confirmed he will fly back to Brazil as the squad return to Liverpool.

Arne Slot confirms Alisson preseason exit, return date, games missed
Slot provided an update on the Brazilian before the win in Yokohama - with the 32-year-old not involved - and indicated he could miss out against Athletic Club.
"He had to go back to Brazil for private reasons. It's far from ideal – first of all for the private reasons, secondly for him to not be here in a game like this, it's not ideal if you miss part of preseason," he told the club's media channels.
"But again, private life is more important in these matters than joining a game today."

Alisson is the third player to leave Liverpool's travelling party, with Joe Gomez sent home due to injury, and Luis Diaz exiting to complete his transfer move to Bayern Munich.
Given the turnaround before the Athletic Club games, Alisson is unlikely to feature against Ernesto Valverde's visitors - but with two 90-minute matches on the agenda - Mamardashvili, Freddie Woodman and Armin Pecsi could all feature.
The key question for Slot now focuses on when Alisson will be up to speed to return to match action with the Community Shield against Crystal Palace on August 10 before a Premier League campaign opener at home to Bournemouth on August 15.
