Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca will currently be preparing for his side's trip to Nottingham Forest on Saturday lunchtime (October 18).

The Blues head to the City Ground having secured a dramatic 2-1 victory against Liverpool right before the October international break.

The Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge seemed to be heading for a draw, but Estevao's tap-in at the far post deep into second-half stoppage time gave Chelsea all three points.

Maresca was among those to be swept up by the sheer excitement of the winning goal and ran down the touchline to celebrate with his players.

While the Chelsea boss would have felt vindicated in leaving his technical area for the goal celebration, he landed himself in some trouble as he was shown a second yellow card by referee Anthony Taylor.

The Italian, who was booked earlier in the contest for showing dissent, spent the final moments of the game off the pitch.

On Wednesday (October 15), the Football Association confirmed that Maresca would serve a one-match touchline ban for his dismissal in the Liverpool game.

The Blues manager has also been handed an £8000 fine for his actions.

Maresca has accepted the charge so he will not be able to lead his side from the sidelines in the visit to Forest on the weekend.

The 45-year-old's assistant Willy Caballero and first team coaches Roberto Vitiello and Danny Walker are expected to oversee the game from the dugout for Chelsea.

This marks the second time Maresca has been handed a touchline ban. He received one last season after celebrating Pedro Neto's late winner against Fulham, which meant he accumulated three yellow cards for the campaign.

The Chelsea boss will return to the touchline for the team's Champions League tie with Ajax at home next Wednesday (October 22).
