Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is nearing a move away from Stamford Bridge with a number of clubs already in negotiations with the Blues.
Jackson, who joined the Blues from Villarreal in 2023 and is under contract until 2033, has attracted strong interest across Europe this summer.
Newcastle United and Aston Villa have been weighing up a move for the forward in recent weeks but have been deterred by Chelsea’s reported asking price of £60m.
The Magpies are eyeing the Senegal international as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak, whose uncertain future continues to overshadow the club amid ongoing off-field drama.
Villa, meanwhile, are seeking to bolster their attacking resources after a frustrating start to the season, opening with a draw against Newcastle and a defeat to Brentford.

Jackson has scored 30 goals in 81 appearances for Chelsea and was one of only two players to hit double figures for the Blues in the Premier League last season (10 goals, behind Cole Palmer’s 13).
However, the summer arrivals of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap will limit the forward’s minutes this season.
The 24-year-old hasn’t featured in any of Chelsea’s opening two league matches, as talks over a move away from London continue.
Is a Bundesliga move on cards for Jackson?
According to German outlet BILD, Bayern Munich remain serious contenders for Jackson’s signature.
BILD reported on Tuesday (August 26) that Bayern have already agreed personal terms with Jackson as Vincent Kompany’s side look to boost their attack late in the summer.

Ther German giants are eyeing a loan move for Jackson and as per Fabrizio Romano, they have already opened direct club-to-club talks with Chelsea.
The Blues would reportedly be happy with a loan only if it included an obligation to buy, effectively just delaying a permanent transfer to next summer.
A deal for Jackson would also allow Chelsea to move forward in their pursuit of attacking reinforcements, with RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons and Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho both long-standing targets.
