Barcelona continue to struggle financially, but new stars Joan Garcia and Marcus Rashford were registered in time for their La Liga opener.

The Catalan side won 3-0 against Mallorca, in a game marred by controversy.

While Barcelona are not expected to make any more signings this summer, Hansi Flick is keeping an eye on a player who could replace Robert Lewandowski next summer.

Which player is Barcelona lining up a 2026 move for?

According to Sempre Barca, the Catalan side are serious about Juventus' forward Dusan Vlahovic.

Vlahovic was pushing for a move away from Juventus this summer, having been linked to several Premier League clubs.

The Serbian striker is out of contract next summer, which could see Barcelona secure his services on a free transfer.

Juventus were also open to selling Vlahovic this summer if a suitable offer was sent in.

In the Serie A last season, the forward scored 10 goals and provided four assists in 29 matches.

Lewandowski has been linked with a move away from Barcelona, with several Saudi sides interested in the Polish phenom.

At 25 years old, Vlahovic is a younger option to succeed Lewandowski, but the Catalan side could also look for a marquee signing to replace the world-class striker.
