Morgan Rogers and Aston Villa have not had the best start to the Premier League season.

Rogers has failed to score or make an assist with Villa, yet to win any of their opening three league games.

Despite this, Rogers is still part of Thomas Tuchel's England side, who will take on Andorra today.

His Three Lions call-up is largely due to Rodgers' form last season, where he scored eight goals, with 11 assists in 37 league games.

Unfortunately, Rogers' form was not enough to see Aston Villa qualify for the Champions League; they had to settle for a place in the Europa League.

However, a club in European football's top competition is interested in Rogers.

According to TEAMtalk, "Tottenham Hotspur could re-emerge as more serious contenders for Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers."

Spurs were interested in Rogers earlier in the summer, before they signed Randal Kolo Muani on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.

Tottenham is to spend big following Daniel Levy's departure

There was shocking news from Tottenham this week with the announcement of chairman Daniel Levy's departure.

Levy has been at Spurs for 25 years and oversaw their move from White Hart Lane to the impressive Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

However, Levy was often criticised for not spending big on Tottenham's squad, and the club only won two trophies during his tenure.

Signing Rogers would cost a vast amount, as he is contracted to Villa until 2030. Spurs are expected to be more prodigal in the transfer market now they Levy is gone.

They won the Europa League last season, and Spurs must build on this if they are to be regarded as one of the biggest clubs in the world.
