Mikel Arteta is wary about the physical condition of Bukayo Saka after the Arsenal forward picked up a recent injury,
The 23-year-old came off early on in the second half of the Gunners' 5-0 win over Leeds United last weekend due to suffering a left hamstring issue.
As a result, the player has not been named in Thomas Tuchel's latest England squad.
It is now the second time Saka has had a hamstring problem in the past year, as he missed three months of last season due to an injury in his right hamstring.
According to Arteta, the latest injury is not nearly as bad and no surgery is necessary to treat the problem.
The Arsenal boss also confirmed in his pre-match press conference before facing Liverpool on Sunday (August 31) that the player should be back on the pitch within a few weeks.

Despite Saka's injury not being a massive issue this time round, frequent hamstring injuries could potentially become detrimental to the England international in the long-term.

Arteta worried about Saka after latest injury
When Arteta was asked whether it was a concern that Saka had picked up another hamstring injury, the Arsenal boss provided full honesty in his response.
"Yes it is a big (concern), especially when we talk about a sprinter, a player who gets into that zone very often, who needs that burst, that change of pace to be threatening," Arteta explained in his press conference.
The Gunners boss then revealed that the club are looking at how to prevent these type of injuries happening to Saka as frequently.
"We will learn again why it happened and make him stronger, but unfortunately injuries are part of your career."
"He hasn't had that many, with the amount of games he has played, but it's something we want to eradicate," the 43-year-old added.
Arteta will have to find a way to cope without Arsenal's no. 7 in the coming weeks, starting with his side's tough trip to Liverpool this weekend.
