Liverpool are on course for a blockbuster end to the Premier League summer transfer window after agreeing a £125m deal for Alexander Isak.
The Reds have been tracking the Sweden international all summer, after he effectively went on strike to force a move to Anfield, and the final details have been completed just hours before the deadline.
However, the arrival of Isak is not the only new face landing on Merseyside as the window slams shut, with a fee also agreed to sign Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi.
Palace boss Oliver Glasner claimed less than 24 hours ago that he was confident of retaining the England international, but with less than a year on his contract, the club have sanctioned a £35m sale.
Guehi has developed into one of the Premier League's top centre backs after four full seasons at Selhurst Park and he was previously linked with moves to Chelsea and Arsenal.

The 25-year-old was rumoured to be uninterested in a return to Stamford Bridge - after the Blues sold him to Palace in 2021 - and Arsenal eventually pursued other targets.
Cristhian Mosquera joined from Valencia, as part of another big-spending summer from Mikel Arteta, with a loan-to-buy deal almost wrapped up with Bayer Leverkusen's Piero Hincapie.

Despite bringing in defensive reinforcements, former Arsenal star Paul Merson is livid over a missed chance on Guehi, who heads to Arteta's fiercest title rivals.
"I think he's a brilliant player, a brilliant centre-half," he told Sky Sports, reported via The Metro.
"It blows my mind it’s just Liverpool [that are interested]. He gets into everybody’s team in my opinion.
"People might say at Arsenal he won’t get in at the moment, because of Saliba and Gabriel, but he's a great replacement.

"I know he might want to play, but in this day and age when we’re talking about £60m, £80m, £100m, £120m, he is a cup of tea for a top, top drawer centre-half.
"Even with the pressure over a possible move. He’s done his job, he’s turned up. Alright, he might have had that thing with the manager on the pitch at Chelsea. But, he's a proper professional."
