Recently, Luke Littler and Luke Humphries played a little game of 'Agree to Disagree' where they would be prompted with questions/ideas where they gave their feedback.

One interesting new darts tournament format was proposed to the players, with both on board for the hypothetical idea.

What would the format be?

Darts has continued to grow worldwide over the past few years, especially since the arrival of Luke Littler.

From nine-darters to crowd reactions and walk-ons, the sport has some electrifying moments.

Now, imagine this.

What if the PDC created a new tournament where two players would face-off, and the winner would play a mystery opponent who was revealed through their walk-on song.

It's essentially a mix of King of the Court and WWE's Royal Rumble.

If you win, you stay on and play a new opponent that you don't find out about until they're chosen to come out.

Those darts fans who are familiar with the WWE know how thrilling it is to see this happen during Royal Rumble when every two minutes a new wrestler comes out to surprise the crowd.

PDC world number one Luke Humphries went on to say in the Sport Bible YouTube video, "I think it would be a good laugh, a good bit of fun. I think the fans would love it as well."

Luke Littler echoed his approval for the format saying, "I don't think they could go above one leg, a 501, straight away, one leg, the loser goes off and then the next player they'll do the walk on."

The fans would love it and it seems like a no-brainer, but we'll have to see if the PDC will hear its fans and players out to implement it into the schedule eventually.
