Beau Greaves is arguably one of the greatest women to ever play the game of darts, and she's only 21 years old.

Darts is one of the few sports where women and men can both play against each other if they are good enough to qualify for an event taking place.

We were able to see that happen on Monday afternoon, as world number two Luke Littler faced off against the best women's player in the world, Beau Greaves.

After winning their first few games, Greaves and Littler faced off in the round of 32. The two hadn't played since 2019, making this their first match in six years.

It took all 11 legs in the best-of-11 game to decide a winner, which went the way of Littler. Greaves averaged 4.28 points higher than Littler's 96.64, producing impressive scoring and finishing well.

She has been on fire on the Women's series, and performances like this against arguably the best player in darts right now show how good a player Greaves already is.

She's already clinched a spot at the 2026 PDC WC, if she chooses to accept the invite, something she hasn't done in past years since she chose to compete at the WDF World Championship instead.

Greaves' performance at PC 24 was her best this year and in her career at a PC event.

She played in her first UK Open earlier this year, making it all the way to round four, where she played a close contest with world number one Luke Humphries.

Littler went on to lose his next game after beating Greaves. He's now ranked #51 on the PC OoM for 2025, needing to stay in the top 64 to qualify for the PC Finals later this year.

Sweden's Jeffrey De Graaf won his first PDC event title at PC 24, defeating Stephen Bunting in a close final.

Bunting averaged 106.31, but it wasn't enough to defeat De Graaf despite his average of 102.10.

The second and final Players Championship event of the year will take place on Tuesday, August 26.
