The Professional Darts Corporation's constant quest to put darts, and its star names, in front of different audiences, whether it be Madison Square Garden, an Emrati dessert or a leafy London park is reaping rewards.

The iconic New York venue will once again host the US Darts Masters and North American Open in June as the professional game takes full advantage of making global news, on multiple occasion in recent years, to become more popular outside its traditional UK and European homes.

“We’re really looking forward to putting on a world class darts show as part of this year’s BST Hyde Park Open House Festival,” said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.

“It is an iconic part of British Summer Time and darts is an iconic part of British culture, so to bring the two together is a really exciting concept and we can’t wait for what will be a fun, entertaining evening.”

Tickets for the Hyde Park Darts Championship will go on sale from 1000 BST on Friday May 2, with further information available here.
