2025 World Grand Prix Darts quarterfinals predictions, betting odds: Luke Humphries' final streak set to end? image

PDC

We're officially into the quarterfinal round of the 2025 World Grand Prix of Darts.

Out of the eight players left post the Day 4 results, several are regulars when it comes to being in at this stage of TV majors, while others aren't used to the bright lights.

2025 World Grand Prix of Darts second round predictions

Here are my predictions for the quarterfinals.

Danny Noppert (13) vs. Gary Anderson (12)

Winner: Gary Anderson, 3-2

This feels like a 50/50 game, with neither player seeming particularly further ahead in form than the other.

Anderson and Noppert had fairly easy wins in the second round against opponents struggling.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Noppert win, but I'll give the edge to Anderson as the veteran who is solely locked in on playing at the TV majors rather than the Pro Tour at this point in his career.

Dirk van Duijvenbode vs. Jonny Clayton (6)

Winner: Jonny Clayton, 3-1

Dirk van Duijvenbode had a big upset win over Michael van Gerwen in round one, but runs into a tough opponent in the quarterfinals.

Clayton has been the more consistent, in-form player this year, while van Duijvenbode just hasn't quite put together a deep TV run in 2025.

Clayton can be fantastic on doubles, so even with van Duijvenbode playing at his highest level, it still might not be enough to combat Clayton's scoring and finishing.

Luke Littler (2) vs. Gerwyn Price (7)

Winner: Luke Littler, 3-2

Littler and Price have arguably been the two best players in the tournament so far.

Littler hasn't dropped a set yet, despite playing Mike De Decker, last year's winner, and Gian van Veen (one of the best double hitters in 2025).

Price dominated Josh Rock in their second round game. He had everything clicking, even averaging around 110 during one of the sets he won.

Unfortunately, one player will be sent home so early in a game that has the caliber of being the final.

Price will give Littler a run for his money, but at the end of the day, it would be silly not to take Littler unless he starts to drop his own production.

Luke Humphries (1) vs. Cameron Menzies

Winner: Cameron Menzies, 3-2

This is a bold prediction to make, but something tells me Menzies is going to take advantage of this opportunity.

His current form suggests he's a much different player than who we've seen on stage in the past 10 months.

This will be only the second time in Menzies' career that he's made a quarterfinal appearance at a 'TV major.'

Humphries hasn't played poorly, but he hasn't shown that he's playing at a dominant enough level where he's a surefire victor in this game.

Chances are, Humphries should come out with the win, but I think if Menzies can start strong and compose himself, he should have a great shot at grabbing what would be the best win of his career.
