The Euro Tour has been filled with fun moments all year, and we might be in for another treat this weekend.

Many notable names will be participating this weekend, creating a competitive field just one week after a great three days in Amsterdam.

Is Rock in position for a first Euro Tour event win in 2025?

Josh Rock has bigger fish to fry when it comes to tournaments he wants to win, but he's always taken the European Tour and Pro Tour events very seriously.

After winning his first career Euro Tour event last year, he's come close, many times in 2025, to adding a second to his collection.

In the last two Euro Tour events, he's made back-to-back finals and has also made two additional semifinal appearances this year.

MORE: Who is playing at the 2025 Hungarian Darts Trophy?

Rock has made the evening session of the final day of Euro Tour events in 5/10 Euro Tour tournaments he's competed in this year.

You might be wondering, 'Why now?'

It's no secret that Rock has the tools to win tournaments and events, as he's come close on several occasions recently, and even won a pairs title this summer in Germany at the World Cup of Darts.

His name is on the map for regular darts consumers, but maybe not quite to the level he could be if he had a major under his belt.

A Euro Tour title this weekend wouldn't satisfy that, but it would be another huge step in the right direction for Rock amid the coming months that are packed with majors and tournaments.

Hungarian Darts Trophy Predictions

With the layout of the bracket/draw, Rock has a great chance at potentially a third final appearance in a row on the Euro Tour.

His first obstacle would be Stephen Bunting in the third round, but he's more than capable of beating him, especially considering he had a recent semifinal run at the WSoD Finals and Bunting was knocked out in the first round.

After that, names like James Wade, Damon Heta, Gian van Veen and Luke Humphries come into play, among many others, on the top half of the bracket.

Rock really shouldn't fear many opponents at the moment with his high level of consistency, which is why he could make it to Sunday night once again.

With the short format, anything can happen, so a few other names should be on fans' radars.

MORE: When does Luke Littler play in the second round of the 2025 Hungarian Darts Trophy?

Niko Springer is back in action this weekend and is one of those unseeded threats who can create chaos on a weekend like this.

It's going to take a valiant effort, as he'll have to play Gian van Veen straight out of the gate in round one.

Gerwyn Price will look to have a bounce-back weekend after a disappointing loss to Littler in the semifinal in Amsterdam.

Similar to Rock, he's on the verge of breaking through with his current form in recent months.

Lastly, you can't sleep on last weekend's winner, Michael van Gerwen.

Although he's struggled on the European Tour recently, he'll be a threat after last week and with a weaker draw on the bottom half of the bracket. MVG and Littler could find themselves in a rematch this week, this time in the semifinal round.
