Kobe Bryant's daughter, Natalia, made her directing debut this week in a new short film dedicated to the Los Angeles Lakers

The oldest daughter of the late Kobe - who died tragically in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California in 2020 -  served as the creative director on the NBA team's new short film, "Forever Iconic: Purple and Gold."

The one minute and nine second film, released on Wednesday, Oct. 8, follows famous fans repping the team in Lakers gear around the city.

Natalia, 22, enlisted several famous fans for her debut project, including Magic Johnson, Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani, and Brenda Song. Current Lakers players LeBron James and Luka Doncic also make a cameo.

In one clip, Doncic shoots a hand towel into a garbage can, while standing inside a Lakers practice facility, yelling "Kobe!" as it landed perfectly inside.

Another clip features Kobe hitting a game-winning basket as an announcer yells, "Bryants for the win!"

In an interview with "People," Natalia raved about her first project, telling the outlet, “This project was an amazing, collaborative environment with such creative people and we all came together to try and portray the Lakers’ impact, not only in LA but around the world."

"Everyone has their own connection to the Lakers," she added. "I hope those who already love this team watch this project and remember what that pride feels like. And if you’re not a Lakers fan yet, I hope you watch this, and it makes you want to be.”
