The Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy reached its final frontier as India took on England for one final time in this series at the Kennington Oval.

The visitors who were trailing in the five-match series, won the thriller by six-runs to make a stunning comeback and level the series 2-2.

Heading into Day 5, the equation was simple: England needed 35 runs, India needed four wickets. Mohammed Siraj delivered under pressure, taking three of the final four wickets to seal a thrilling win for India, despite a valiant effort from Chris Woakes, who walked in to bat with his injured arm in a sling.

Earlier on Day 4, Joe Root and Harry Brook launched a brilliant counterattack, almost taking the game away from India in just a session and a half. Brook, dropped on 19 on the boundary by Siraj, scored a blistering 111 off 98 balls. Root played the anchor’s role to perfection, reaching yet another Test century.

However, India, courtesy of Siraj's five-wicket haul, sealed a dramatic victory at the Oval -- just their third win at the venue in Test cricket history.
