Glenn Maxwell and Adam Zampa have been lighting it up during the ODI tournament in India, with a T20 series against the host nation slated for November.

But all eyes will be on the upcoming Test summer, which includes the annual blockbuster Boxing Day and New Year's Test against Pakistan, before the West Indies return for a second-straight year.

The Sporting News has all the details on Australia's summer of cricket below.

Who are Australia playing this summer?

Australia will take on two opponents at home over the summer — Pakistan and West Indies.

Pakistan are booked to play a three-match Test series during December and January, with the first clash beginning on December 14th in Perth, before fixtures in Melbourne and Sydney over the Christmas/New Year period.

West Indies will also head Down Under to face Australia in eight games across all three formats — Test, ODI and T20 — over the course of January and February.
