A former British light heavyweight champion, Richards failed to capture the WBA light heavyweight title against Dmitry Bivol. Since then, "Spider" has gone 3-2 in his last five fights. The 35-year-old has twelve wins via knockout.
A win could force the top contenders to take notice of the London-born fighter.

A former Commonwealth, British, English, and European light heavyweight champion, Azeez (22-2-1) went 0-2-1 in 2024. He rebounded with two wins in 2025, and the Lewisham-living fighter attempts to go for his third straight.
