Both Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Mike Tyson are in the late stages of their boxing careers, two respective legends whose best years are behind them. But that isn't stopping them from reportedly putting on an all-time show for fans.
According to a Thursday report from TMZ, Mayweather and Tyson are set to step into the ring against one another in 2026. The fight would be an exhibition, so it wouldn't risk Mayweather's famously perfect 50-0 record.
Tyson last stepped into the ring in 2024 to take on Jake Paul in a major Netflix event, while Mayweather last participating in an exhibition in August 2024.

Is Mike Tyson fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr.?
TMZ reported Thursday that Tyson and Mayweather have agreed to fight each other, signing a deal for sometime in the spring of 2026 for the bout. The event would be put on by CSI Sports/Fight Sports.
While an exact date and location are reportedly still unknown, Tyson told TMZ that he's excited to go head-to-head with Mayweather, a fight that many thought could never happen.
"This fight is something neither the world nor I ever thought would or could happen," Tyson said, per TMZ. "However, boxing has entered a new era of the unpredictable -- and this fight is as unpredictable as it gets."
Tyson also told TMZ that he "still can't believe Floyd wants to really do this," and that it will be "detrimental to his health."
Mayweather also spoke on the fight, expressing his confidence to TMZ that he'll win.
"I've been doing this for 30 years and there hasn't been a single fighter that can tarnish my legacy," Mayweather said, per TMZ. "You already know that if I am going to do something, it's going to be big and it’s going to be legendary. I'm the best in the business of boxing. This exhibition will give the fans what they want."
Mayweather's last professional fight was in 2017, when he took on Conor McGregor. This event would not be impactful to his perfect record, as it would be an exhibition.
As for Tyson, he also participated in a high-profile exhibition recently by taking on Jake Paul in 2024. Prior to the Paul fight, Tyson had last stepped into the ring in 2005.
