Chris Eubank Jr defeated Conor Benn unanimously

Chris Eubank Jr (35-3, 25 KOs) and Conor Benn (23-1, 14 KOs), produced an instant classic on April 26, 2025, when the family rivals went to war over 12-rounds at Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London, England.

It was the Brighton boxer Eubank Jr who had has hand raised after the bruising battle, with unanimous scores of 116-112, but they both emerged with full credit for giving the fights fans an incredible spectacle that lived up to their famous fathers' legacy.

After their epic encounter, there appeared to be some mutual respect shared between them, with Eubank Jr admitting that he was surprised by Benn and how good he actually was, revealing that he even underestimated him because he had fully expected to "break him early", in his own words.

However, despite that praise, Eubank Jr has since revealed that he purposely did not shake Conor Benn's hand afterwards for one specific reason.

"I did not shake his hand, I didn't congratulate him, and I didn't speak to him," the 35-year-old two-weight IBO world champion begun.

"In my mind, this kid is still a drugs cheat.

"He still tried to cheat before our first fight, and never owned up to it.

"I can't forgive that until there is some accountability."

The rivals are due to fight again in a rematch later on in the year.
