So, will it be repeat or revenge?

In April, Chris Eubank Jr. Battled to a unanimous decision victory over Conor Benn in their generational grudge match.

Victory for Eubank meant he emulated his father, Chris Sr, who beat Nigel Benn in Birmingham 35 years ago next week.

The fathers boxed to a contested draw at Old Trafford three years later, ending a rivalry that defined an era of British boxing. Or so we thought.

Their sons have picked up the baton. This matchup initially felt too contrived when it was dreamed up over three years ago. That scheduled October 2022 encounter was axed after Benn failed drug tests, and the whole rivalry then took on a darker feel.

Contrary to many expectations, Eubank Jr. And Benn elevated themselves and their sport over 12 compelling rounds earlier this year. Both insist tonight will apply the full stop to a rivalry that has captivated the British sporting public for three-and-a-half decades.

AllSportsPeople is providing live coverage and results from the Eubank Jr. Vs. Benn 2 card and round-by-round coverage of the main event.

Chris Eubank Jr. Vs. Conor Benn 2 live fight updates, highlights from 2025 boxing card

7:59 p.m: We're past halfway and this is becoming a bit of an ordeal for Scoby. He takes a withering body shot in the seventh and responds by using the head. Not for the first time and that's a point off. For the rest of the session, Scoby can't get out of the way. Azim's body attack is really taking a toll, although referee Howard Foster warns him to keep them up a touch.

7:39 p.m: Azim's fizzing speed was the feature of the opener and a spiteful right in round two forced Scoby to hold. A step-up in class for the American, all one-way traffic so far.

7:25 p.m: Next up we have Adam Azim, one of the brightest young stars in British boxing. Azim puts his undefeated record on the line as he looks to stay on track for world honours against big-punching American and late replacement Kurt Scoby. Dalton Smith challenges Subriel Mathias for the WBC super lightweight title in Janaury and that could put him and Azim on a collision course. Provided Scoby doesn't spring the upset, of course.

Richard Riakporhe beats Tommy Welch via 2nd round KO!

There's the power, Riakporhe thuds an overhand right into Welch's temple a minute into the second. The Brighton man beats the count...Just.  He was up at about nine-and-a-half there. Plenty more of the round to negotiate and Welch looks to tie up Riakporhe,... But there's the big right hand again!  Wallop. Welch beats the count, only to be floored again and it's waved off.

6:50 p.m: On we go and it's heavyweight action up next. Richard Riakporhe has his second fight after leaving the cruiserweight division. The undefeated but largely untested Tommy Welch is in the other corner.

Ishmael Davis beats Sam Gilley by unanimous decision to become British and Commonwealth super welterweight champion!

Davis gets it, by the expected razor thin margins of 115-114 and 115-113 (twice). It's hard to begrudge a man who has fought all comers over the past year to scant reward. Gilley came on strong in the final two rounds, but was arguably fortunate not to have a knockdown scored against him in the final 10 seconds when he slipped after shipping an uppercut. It'd be great to see this again, but what an achievement for Davis, who has family members in tears at ringside.

6:36 p.m: Another twist in the 11th as Gilley clatters Davis with a huge uppercut and now the Leeds man looks unsteady, Gilley really needed that and is in the ascendency heading into a 12th round where it's all up for grabs.

6:27 p.m: Big moments for Davis in round nine as he sinks in a body shot that forces Gilley to gasp for air. The champion did well not to fold in half there, but Davis is coming on strong. This will stil be close on the cards but the momentum is in Davis' favour.

6:15 p.m: Thrilling sixth round as they both exchange from the off. Gilley had an excellent fifth but he under the cosh here. Davis looks the stronger man and the champion has some eye damage, which might have come from a solid, short left. Davis' jab is working and he's putting his punches together well. But there's a swing and a miss from the challenger, though, after Gilley catches him on the top of the head. Brilliant action

6:08 p.m: Four close rounds so far. Scorecards could be a hoot. I feel like Davis is having the best of it, but I thought that when he boxed Agyarko.

5:50 p.m: Next up we have a mouthwatering British super welterweight clash. Ishmael Davis has won plenty of admirers, if not fights, over the past year, taking on Josh Kelly, Serhii Bohachuk and Caoimhim Agyarko. The decision that went against him when he boxed Agyarko on the Lewis Crocker vs. Paddy Donovan 2 undercard was a bit of a stinker, to be honest. It's back into the fray against reigning Commonwealth champion Sam Gilley, with the British title at 154 pounds also on the line. Gilley is a die-hard Tottenham fan and made his ringwalk more or less wearing the club shop.

Mikie Tallon beats Fezan Shahid by 5th round TKO!

Tallon enjoys his best round of the fight in the fifth and closes the show in style in the closing seconds. He drills Shahid with a beautiful uppercut and his opponent sags to the canvas. The Yorkshireman tries gamely to beat the count but can't and that's all she wrote.

5:25 p.m: Good action here, with both men sporting bloodied noses through three. Tallon having far greater success, especially with the left to the body. Shahid is right-hand happy but making it an entertaining scrap.

5:10 p.m: Bradford's Fezan Shahid is the man looking to spring the upset in this six-round contest. Even though he hails from Liverpool, Tallon is Manchester-based and trained by Joe Gallagher. The boxers are in the ring and ready to go.

5 p.m: It's all about two men in some respects, but our preliminary action will be getting underway shortly, with a few intriguing and well-matched fights. This opening fight of the night probably doesn't fall into that category, with Liverpudlian super flyweight prospect Mikie Tallon a heavy favourite to move to 11-0 in the pro ranks.

4 p.m: Hello and welcome to AllSportsPeople' live coverage of Chris Eubank Jr. Vs. Conor Benn at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Back at the scene of their unforgettable encounter seven months ago, will it be repeat or revenge?
