Spreadex sports betting
The selection of sports on offer at Spreadex is comparable with most of the other bookmakers in the U.K. sports betting market. Virtual sports are also on offer, but there is a relative lack of niche sports compared to many of the other top bookies online.
With the spread betting element in mind, the firm choose to double down on its big hitters of football and horse racing.
Spreadex specials, features & odds boosts
Spreadex’s online sports betting site isn’t just about traditional sports betting either, and at the time of writing their sportsbook had the 2025 BBC Sports Personality of the Year market online too.
Just an example of where Spreadex will give you ample opportunity for a punt on whatever markets take your fancy!

User experience and interface
The Spreadex sports betting site can best be described in three words: effective, but basic.
The website design could do with an update to keep it in line with some of the latest front-end development. While the information you’d expect to see on the site is all there, it could look a little more pleasing on the eye.
Although, if you’re a no-frills sort of bettor, the black-and-white themed Spreadex site might be just what you’re after. Albeit without the bells and whistles of some of their competitors, it does what it needs to do.
The only issue encountered was the amount of times the site defaulted to spread betting markets, not fixed-odds markets, which required an extra click or two before getting to the odds we were looking for.
Key features
As mentioned, Spreadex offers the chance to join their community through the affiliate scheme. The bookie also has its own separate welcome offer for spread betting customers, plus a referral scheme that gives each existing customer the opportunity to claim a £100 spread bet.
Mobile and app compatibility
The Spreadex website and app don't look as advanced on the development end in terms of design and layout as you might expect.
The featured areas at the top of the homepage offer a little design and functionality, but the menus and lists are all very simplistic and straightforward.
Although this may have a positive effect on the speed of the app, from our tests across all the betting sites we’ve reviewed, speed hasn’t been an issue, so we're not sure the stripped-back front end is essential.
Functionality-wise, like the website, the app works great, and that’s why it has solid ratings on Google Play and the Apple App Store too.
App Store: 4.7/5 stars (665 ratings)
Google Play: 4.3/5 stars (194 reviews)
Spreadex VIP and loyalty schemes
During our review of Spreadex, we couldn't find a loyalty programme, though there was a ‘refer and earn’ programme, where customers can refer a friend to earn bonuses.
