Who will win UEFA Women's Euros 2025? Betting odds, favourites, tips & predictions for summer tournament image

The 2025 UEFA Women’s European Championships is well and truly underway in Switzerland, with 11 teams still in with a chance of winning the 14th edition of the trophy this summer.

The world champions Spain have yet to win the competition, despite their brilliance in recent years and the dominance of Barcelona in club football, albeit Barca were recently beaten by Arsenal in the UEFA Women’s Champions League final. They have started the competition in stunning form, however.

Arsenal’s success may well bleed into English hopes, too, as Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses aim to defend their title, albeit it hasn’t been a smooth build up or start for the world No.5 side. They did produce an emphatic victory in their second game, though.

Record eight-time champions and 2022 runners’ up Germany are also among the leading contenders, alongside the usual suspects of the Netherlands and Sweden, whilst France head to Switzerland with a strong side themselves, and have started in stunning style.

Who will win UEFA Women’s Euros 2025? Betting odds, favourites

Spain, under the management of Montserrat Tome, have a squad that boasts some of the very best players in the world with the likes of Irene Paredes, Aitama Bonmati, Alexia Putellas and Mariano Caldentey, among many others. They have started the tournament with two wins and 11 goals, and are rightful favourites.

The other expected leading contenders for the tournament include the aforementioned finalists from three years ago, Germany and England, as well as France.

Germany appear to be rebuilding well, and have already sealed their spot in the last eight with two wins from two in the group stages.

England had a controversial build-up to the competition with a raft of retirements, and Sarina Wiegman's side started off with a narrow loss to France. They bounced back brilliantly, beating the Netherlands 4-0, and should find themselves in the knockout round.

The French, now coached by Laurent Bonadei after Herve Renard’s underwhelming stint in charge as Les Bleues only reached the quarter-finals of last summer’s home Olympics, are, like Germany, trending in the right direction and look a strong bet to bet in the last eight. They have beaten both England and Wales so far.

2025 Women’s Euros pre-tournament predictions and tips

Most Likely: Spain to win the tournament (10/11 with Sky Bet)

The most likely outcome is that Spain have won their first-ever European crown in women’s international football, and it’ll be viewed as a culmination of an all-conquering Barcelona side that has bled into the national team, akin to that of the men’s side from around a decade ago.

Longshot: Norway to win the tournament (33/1 with Betway)

If Spain weren’t to go on and be crowned champions, then it may well be a good choice to try and find value in a longshot bet and backing two-time winners Norway to go deep would be a good shout. No longer the force they were, they still have some excellent players and also a favourable route to the final, thrown into what is a weak Group A and then a quarter-final likely to be against one of Belgium, Italy or Portugal.
