It’s do-or-die time for Paris Saint-Germain as they head into a high-stakes Group B finale at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. With everything on the line, the reigning Champions League winners are in must-win territory at Lumen Field.

Thankfully, they're up against a Seattle Sounders side that's all but out of the tournament. Still, with a possible three-way tie looming at the top of the group, the drama is far from over.

PSG's shock 1-0 loss to Botafogo threw the group wide open. Now sitting on three points from their opening win over Atletico Madrid, the French giants need all three points against Seattle to stay alive. But even with a win, their fate could hinge on the outcome of the Atletico vs. Botafogo match, kicking off simultaneously.

For the Sounders, it's been a rough ride on home soil. Despite strong support from the Seattle faithful, they’ve yet to earn a point after falling to both Botafogo and Atlético. Still, Brian Schmetzer’s squad showed flashes of promise, particularly with a two-goal second-half showing in their last outing — and they’ll look to go out swinging.

Paddy Power heavily favors PSG to take care of business, listing them at 1/8 for the win. A surprise Sounders victory is priced at a massive 15/1, while a draw stands at 8/1.

PSG vs. Seattle Sounders prediction, tips, bet builder and odds for Club World Cup clash

PSG to win the first half without conceding: 7/10 (Spreadex)

Paris Saint-Germain may have slipped up against Botafogo, but they’re still expected to bounce back in Seattle — and this particular wager adds more value to their odds. PSG has a solid track record of setting the tone early: they’ve scored first in three of their last four matches and led at halftime in four of their last five road games. On the flip side, Seattle Sounders have found the net only in second halves during this tournament. All signs point to the Parisians grabbing early control and heading into the break with a clean sheet.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia anytime goalscorer: 17/4 (Spreadex)

When the stakes are high, you turn to your stars, and for PSG, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is that guy. With Ousmane Dembele nursing an injury and Doue struggling to find form on American soil, the Georgian winger is expected to carry the creative load. Fresh off a standout campaign, 12 goals and 11 assists in 46 appearances, including one in the Champions League final, Kvaratskhelia has shown he can deliver in the biggest moments. If he chips in with an assist instead, that’s priced at a tempting 2.75 to 1.

PSG vs. Seattle Sounders starting lineups, team news

Seattle need an unlikely set of results to go through — they must beat PSG by three goals and hope Botafogo defeat Atletico Madrid — but they should still start with a strong lineup for what is likely to be a farewell game in front of their own fans.

Coach Brian Schmetzer will probably make a few more changes after mixing up his teams in the first two games. Alex RoldanRyan Kent and Jesus Ferreira could all come into the lineup.

Veteran Jordan Morris has missed significant time this season with a lengthy injury, and while he's back in training, he has not got off the bench so far at this tournament. Yeimar Gomez will hope to make an appearance after battling back from a hamstring injury.

Seattle Sounders predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Frei (GK) — A. Roldan, Ragen, Bell, Baker-Whiting — C. Roldan, Vargas — De la Vega, Rusnak, Kent — Ferreira.

Injured: Bruin (knee), Gomez (hamstring, doubt).
Suspended: None.
Yellow card away from suspension: Tolo, Ragen, Rothrock.

Luis Enrique rotated his side for the defeat to Botafogo and will likely restore his best XI to give them the best chance of going through.

That means Fabian RuizJoao Neves and Nuno Mendes should all come back in, while there could be a place in the lineup for Bradley Barcola given Goncalo Ramos started both the opening fixtures while his teammate recovered from a knee issue.

Marquinhos may also return to the defence, although he is at risk of suspension for the Round of 16 if he receives a yellow card in this match.

Ousmane Dembele returned to training over the weekend, the forward having missed the first two games with a muscle problem sustained on international duty. However, Luis Enrique is not expected to rush him back.

PSG predicted lineup (4-3-3, right to left): Donnarumma (GK) — Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes — Neves, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz — Doue, Barcola, Kvaratskhelia.

Injured: Dembele (muscle, doubt).
Suspended: None.
Yellow card away from suspension: Marquinhos, Fabian Ruiz.
