The second semi-final of the 2025 Club World Cup promises fireworks, as two European powerhouses collide in a blockbuster showdown.
Real Madrid and PSG will lock horns under the lights at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, with a place in the final hanging in the balance. Both sides have the pedigree — but only one gets to prove it on the night.
The sportsbooks have PSG narrowly favoured. According to Paddy Power, a PSG win stands at 13/10 in 90 minutes, with odds of 7/5 to reach the final by any means. A Madrid win pays 15/8, while the draw is priced at 5/2.

PSG enter this clash riding the wave of a dream season. With a historic treble — Ligue 1, Coupe de France, and the Champions League — already in their pocket, Luis Enrique’s men are looking to crown their campaign in style.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, have also been in imperious form. Topping their group and brushing aside Juventus and Borussia Dortmund, Los Blancos remain unbeaten.
PSG to score first: 10/11 (LiveScore Bet)
PSG are a side bang in form. They scored four goals against Atletico Madrid, four against Inter Miami and two against Bayern Munich, the latter whom they scored against on the hour and with two players less.
In the most decisive matches, PSG have shown their offensive power and are a team who usually strikes first. In the last six matches, including the Champions League final, they opened the scoring and against Real Madrid they have done the same in three of their four most recent encounters.
Kylian Mbappe to score at any time: 13/10 (LiveScore Bet)
Even when these two giants of European football meet, the presence of Kylian Mbappe adds extra spice. Having recovered from the bout of gastroenteritis that prevented him from playing in the group stage, he returned in the Round of 16 against Juventus, scored a superb goal with a half-scissors kick against Borussia Dortmund and is in a position to haunt his former club in his first match against PSG since his departure. Moreover, without Pacho in the opposing defense, the French striker could be an extra complication for the European champions.

PSG vs. Real Madrid predicted lineups, team news
PSG will be without young defender Willian Pacho after his red card against Bayern Munich for a dangerous tackle on Leon Goretzka. It's a big blow for PSG as their high press is backed up by his elite recovery abilities. Lucas Hernandez is also suspended after picking up his own red card in the match.
Star forward Ousmane Dembele returned from a thigh injury with two straight substitute appearances, scoring in the last round against Bayern Munich. He has been superseded by Bradley Barcola up front, but with Dembele returning to form and Barcola not producing, Luis Enrique could return to his regular front line used most of the season.
Otherwise, PSG have their full list of regulars available for action, a boon for the reigning Champions League winners who have steamrolled their competition throughout this season. Yellow card accumulation is wiped as we've reached the semifinals.
- PSG predicted XI (4-3-3, right to left): Donnarumma (GK) — Hakimi, Marquinhos, Beraldo, Mendes — Neves, Vitinha, F. Ruiz — Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia
Injured: None
Suspended: Pacho (red card), L. Hernandez (red card)
For Real, new defender Dean Huijsen, who has been fantastic at the back since signing from Bournemouth, saw himself needlessly sent off for a last-man foul in stoppage time against Borussia Dortmund, meaning he is suspended for the PSG game. Raul Asencio or Aurelien Tchouameni or likely to step in at centre-back.
Kylian Mbappe has come off the bench in each of the past two rounds, but has given way to youth product Gonzalo Garcia, who has been brilliant in the France star's absence, scoring in each of their two knockout games.
Endrick has finally linked up with Real Madrid at the Club World Cup and has begun training after recovering from a hamstring injury, but he was not part of the Round of 16 squad. Raul Asencio is available following his one-game suspension for a red card against Pachuca, but he was an unused substitute against Juventus and may have lost Xabi Alonso's trust.
Dani Carvajal, Eduardo Camavinga, David Alaba, and Ferland Mendy are still absent with their long-term injuries.
- Real Madrid predicted XI (4-4-2, right to left): Courtois (GK) — Alexander-Arnold, Rudiger, Asensio, F. Garcia — Valverde, Tchouameni, Bellingham, Guler — Vinicius Jr, G. Garcia
Injured: Endrick (hamstring, doubt), Carvajal (knee), Camavinga (muscle), Mendy (muscle)
Suspended: Huijsen (red card)
