Ousmane Dembele goalscorer betting odds vs. Arsenal: Injury update as PSG striker eyes Champions League semifinal second leg return image

PSG talisman Ousmane Dembele looks set to shoulder his side's hopes of reaching the Champions League final, and the latest injury update surrounding the striker means he is being well backed to deliver against Arsenal in their semifinal second leg.

French champions PSG will host Mikel Arteta's Gunners with a slender 1-0 first-leg advantage in the return clash at Parc des Princes on Wednesday night.

Arsenal have it all to do if they are to keep alive their dream of winning a first-ever UCL crown, and their job may have just got significantly harder.

Luis Enrique rotated his PSG squad heavily over the weekend against Strasbourg in domestic action, and he has all his regular starters ready to return on Wednesday. That includes Dembele.

The Ballon d'Or candidate exited the first leg late with what looked to be a muscle injury, but after being kept out of the weekend's match as a precaution, he should return to play here.

That news will be a huge boost to the Parisians, and has also led to significant moves in the betting markets for the game.

Dembele is now an attractive 19/4 with betway to score the first goal of the game, while he's 6/4 with the same bookmaker to net at any time.

10bet have the Frenchman at 7/2 to have more than 2.5 shots on target, while he's 30/1 to grab a hat-trick.

Only oft-sidelined defender Presnel Kimpembe is confirmed as absent for PSG due to injury, this time a bone edema in his right foot. Kang-In Lee also suffered a shin injury during the weekend defeat but was unlikely to play a significant role anyway.

Given that Bradley Barcola was the only regular to play the full 90 minutes against Strasbourg, it's likely that Desire Doue will start on Wednesday as he did in the first leg, with Barcola set to come off the bench at some stage.

PSG predicted XI (4-3-3, right to left): Donnarumma (GK) — Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes — Nevez, Vitinha, F. Ruiz — Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia.

Injured: Lee (shin, doubt), Kimpembe (foot).
Suspended: None.
