Ligue 1 predictions, odds and betting tips for 2025/26 as chasers look to dethrone dominant PSG image

The 2025/26 Ligue 1 season is off and running, and the only question is whether anyone can stop PSG's absolute dominance?

Luis Enrique's all-conquering side clinched their fourth title in a row, and 11th in 14 seasons since the Qatari takeover, on their way to a historic treble, and look primed to possibly be even better this season.

However, there are still plenty of talking points and narratives in the division, with the likes of Marseille and Monaco looking to make further progress after strong campaigns last time around.

The Sporting News brings you all the latest odds ahead of kick off in France.

Ligue 1 predictions 2025/26: Title winners

PSG are a phenomenal side but it is hugely damaging for the domestic game in France for the title race to so often turn into a procession. The financial power of the capital club is just too much for anyone to truly compete with, and that is reflected in the odds.

It would be an almighty shock if Luis Enrique's side are toppled, but Lille in 2020/21 and Monaco in 2016/17 give teams a sliver of hope, and the Principality side look well-placed to be their nearest challenger following the eye-catching signing of Paul Pogba, as well as the arrivals of Ansu Fati and Eric Dier.

Marseille finished second last season in Roberto De Zerbi's debut campaign, and are the only other side with a real chance of challenging the champions. However, they are already dealing with off-field issues after starting with a defeat to Rennes.

Here's the latest Ligue 1 title odds from Paddy Power.

Ligue 1 predictions 2025/26: Winners without PSG

It says a lot about the current state of Ligue 1 that this market exists, but it does and it represents much better value for bettors.

The battle for second place is almost certain to be between Monaco and Marseille, who finished third and second last season.

As for the other potential challengers, Lille lost England international Angel Gomes to Marseille and keeper Lucas Chevalier to PSG and Nice sold Evann Guessand to Aston Villa, so both might take a step back this season.

It's also been a chaotic summer both on and off the pitch for one-time kings of France, Lyon, who were relegated for financial problems before being reinstated. They also lost star man Rayan Cherki to Manchester City.

Here are the the winners' odds without PSG via Bet365.
