La Liga predictions, odds and betting tips for winner, relegation and top scorer 2025/26 as Real Madrid lead at the top image

The 2025/26 La Liga season is off and running and it is set to be one of the most interesting seasons in recent memory - particularly after Real Madrid's perfect six wins from six start.

Barcelona  are the defending champions, having won their 28th title as part of a stunning domestic double in Hansi Flick's first season. On the other side of El Clasico, it was a desperately disappointing season for Real Madrid, who went trophyless despite the goalscoring exploits of Kylian Mbappe.

Elswhere, Atletico Madrid are always a threat as the great disrupters, but could this year see a new team emerge against all the odds?

AllSportsPeople  brings you a betting guide complete with all the latest odds as the season gets into full swing in Spain.

Pronósticos La Liga 2025/26: Campeón

It was a summer of change for Madrid, with Xabi Alonso replacing Carlo Ancelotti in the hotseat, and he has been gifted several new signings amid the departure of Luka Modric. Trent Alexander-Arnold's free transfer arrival is the most eye-catching, but Dean Huijsen and Alvaro Carreras will only further enhance their defence.

Franco Mastantuono has also signed on, with the Argentine the latest young superstar to join the 15-time European champions.

As a result of this and their overall squad depth, they started the season as narrow favourites ahead of Barca, and a 2-1 defeat of the Catalans in the Clasico recently has seen them extend their lead at the top to five points.

They haven't been consistently convincing this year but they are doing more than enough to see off a Barcelona side that appear to be struggling to adapt as teams exploit their high-line.

Atletico have spent big in a bid to bridge the gap after falling away late last season. Alex Baena is the most high-profile signing, joining from Villarreal, but nine points from their first six matches of the season has already left them off the pace and they are as a big as 33/1 with Ladbrokes.

The odds reflect the established order in Spanish football, and it would be a shock to rival any in recent football history if someone bar the big three wins the title for the first time since Valencia in 2004.

Barcelona have stuttered at the start of the defence of their title and, whilst not dominant nor thrilling themselves, Madrid have been consistently grinding out results.

Pronósticos La Liga 25/26: Ganadores sin Barça/Madrid

Barca's title last season made it 12 in the last 21 seasons since Valencia triumphed, with Real claiming seven in that time.

Atletico's stunning successes in 2014 and 2021 broke up the duopoly, so it is hardly a surprise they are odds-on in this market, even after their sub-par start, and very much the favourite to take up their now-regular third place again this season.

Athletic Club did come fourth last season - and kept Nico Williams this summer - so could be worth a look too. They have started the season strongly with three wins from three. Villarreal are the team to keep an eye on as Marcelino continues to thrive as an excellent coach.

Here are the latest odds without the big two.

Pronósticos La Liga 2025/26: favoritos

It's 25 years since Real finished outside the top four and 22 years for Barcelona, while Atletico have been a constant since Diego Simeone's first full season in 2012/13.

As a result, they are all odds-on, and it really is a battle for that fourth Champions League spot, which could become five, as it did last season, dependent on European performances.

Athletic and Villarreal came fourth and fifth last season respectively, only separated by goal difference, and another shootout feels likely this time around.

Here's the latest top four finish odds.

Unsurprisingly, the three promoted sides were among the favourites to make an immediate return to the second tier, but Elche have surprised many as they push towards a top-half finish and giants Valencia are once again struggling. Here's the latest relegation odds.

La Liga 2025/26: Goleadores clave

Kylian Mbappe might not have won any team trophies in his debut campaign in white, but he did scoop up the Pichichi award with 31 goals, beating off fierce competition from Robert Lewandowski.

It is likely to be another battle between the two, with one of Atletico pair, Alexander Sorloth or Julian Alvarez, perhaps in with a shout of contention.

Could Lamine Yamal  add to his ever-growing legend and become the youngest ever winner of the award? Here's the latest top goalscorer odds.
