Have PSG won the Champions League? Paris Saint-Germain record in major UEFA finals, competitions image

Paris Saint-Germain have not always been European giants, but since their golden age in the 1990's, PSG have built themselves into a globally recognised club.

Since current owners Qatari Sports Investments purchased the club in 2011, they have become a bona fide European powerhouse, boasting financial and football might.

Yet PSG still seek the silverware which would solidify that status, and feel as though the club are still devoid of legitimacy until they lift such a world-renowned trophy.

The Sporting News takes a look at PSG's record in Europe, trophies won, finals reached, and other performance indicators.

Have PSG won the Champions League?

PSG have famously never won the UEFA Champions League, something the fanbase and front office are both desperate to change.

Having become accustomed to dominating the French top flight over the last decade, PSG crave more than just domestic supremacy, leading to their strong desire for European supremacy.

They reached the final in 2020, but fell 1-0 to Bayern Munich on a Kingsley Coman goal in the 59th minute.

PSG are, however, on the precipice of securing their first-ever UCL title, as they are set to face Inter Milan in the 2025 Champions League final on Saturday, May 31.

PSG to take the European crown for the first time ever this season is priced up at 6/5 with Paddy Power.

PSG record in European, international competition

PSG do have one European trophy, having secured the Cup Winners' Cup in 1996, beating Austrian club Rapid Wien 1-0 on a goal by Bruno Ngotty in the first half.

That qualified them for the 1996 UEFA Super Cup, where they were beaten decisively by Juventus 9-2 on aggregate across the two legged competition.
