The deposed Premier League champions Manchester City will bring the curtain down on a disappointing campaign against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday, where they face an all-or-nothing shootout in their bid to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Returning to the top table of European football is the last major objective for Pep Guardiola's team in a season to forget.  Their FA Cup final loss to Crystal Palace saw them surrender their last chance of winning a major title.

Third in the Premier League table with 68 points, a win in London or a draw (due to their strong goal difference) will secure them a place in the top five. A defeat and they will depend on the performances of Newcastle, Chelsea, Aston Villa (66), and Nottingham Forest (65) in their respective matches.

Fulham, for their part, have little left to play for but will be eager to give their fans one last victory and prevent Manchester City from achieving their objective.

The Cottagers were unable to mount a challenge to qualify for a place in next season's UEFA Conference League and they will end a mixed campaign in mid table. They are currently 10th in the standings with 54 points, winning 15, drawing nine and losing 13, with 54 goals scored and 52 conceded.

For this final-day Premier League clash, Paddy Power have Man City as a 6/10 favourite. A Fulham win rises to 4/1 while a draw stands at 3/1 at time of writing.

Here's our predictions and tips to add some intrigue to this match. Odds are correct at time of publish but subject to change.

Man City to win and Both Teams To Score — 9/5 (10bet)

Manchester City's 3-1 win over Bournemouth was proof that the FA Cup final defeat is behind them. Guardiola hailed the swift comeback, and their next opponent gives him hope of making a run to the 2025/26 Champions League: the head-to-head record shows that City have won the last 10 matches between these two, four of those at Craven Cottage. Still, Fulham weren't easy to beat in that stretch, and five of their last six clashes were entertaining, with goals at both ends.

Kevin de Bruyne over 1.5 shots and to score at anytime — 4.25/1 (Betfair)

An era will end on Sunday. Kevin de Bruyne will play his final Premier League game for Manchester City, leaving the club after almost 10 years. City have decided not to renew his contract, and the Belgian has already received his tribute at the Etihad, which included setting a Premier League record: he is the player who has created the most chances (846) since the 2003/04 season, along with Cesc Fabregas. Hoping for a perfect send-off, De Bruyne has six goals and eight assists this season and will be dreaming of putting the ball in the back of the net for the last time in a sky blue shirt.
