The 2025/26 Championship season is well and truly underway.

Championship predictions 2025/26: Relegation candidates
Off-field issues were always expected to make things difficult for Sheffield Wednesday. Administration has seen them fall to -4 points and they are heading down to League One but there is optimism for the post-Dejphon Chansiri era.
Their Steel City rivals Sheffield United have been the surprise candidates for the drop after a woeful start to the season for the Blades, following their playoff final defeat in May, albeit the Blades did hammer Wednesday 3-0 in the Steel City Derby at the weekend, before doing the same to Portsmouth.
As well as those two, the other candidates involve former Premier League winners Blackburn Rovers, with the Lancastrians in the middle of some excellent form of late , as well as Oxford United and underperforming Norwich City, whilst Portsmouth are also struggling, despite a 3-1 defeat of Millwall the other day.
