The J1 League is now down to its final matchday. The championship race between Kashima Antlers and Kashiwa Reysol has gone down to the wire, with Antlers facing Yokohama F. Marinos and Reysol playing Machida Zelvia FC, both kicking off at 2 PM on Saturday, December 6th, to decide the title.
Meanwhile, the three teams relegated to J2 have already been confirmed as Yokohama FC, Shonan Bellmare, and Albirex Niigata. Led by these three clubs, several teams that fell short of this season's championship, those in the middle of the standings, and those who narrowly avoided relegation have already announced their managers' departures or continuations.

最終節を待たずに退任が発表された監督はJ1では8人に上る。
Three managers have had their contracts renewed for the upcoming season, with no announcements yet for the remaining nine. However, it's anticipated that many, including Kashima's manager Oniki Tatsuru and Kashiwa's manager Ricardo Rodriguez, who are currently leading the title race, will continue in their roles. This is because most of them began their tenures this season and have achieved positive results.
The departures that were met with surprise include those of Sanfrecce Hiroshima, currently in fourth place, managed by Michael Skibbe, and Vissel Kobe, managed by Takayuki Yoshida. Both clubs were contenders for the league championship until the final stages. Hiroshima also secured the Levain Cup this year, while Kobe, despite not achieving a third consecutive title, finished as runners-up in the Emperor's Cup and are currently on a four-game winning streak in the AFC Champions League Elite (ACLE), having achieved notable results this season.
二人ともすでにスキッベ監督が神戸や名古屋グランパス、海外チームで、吉田監督が清水エスパルスで指揮を取るという報道が早々にされており、もしかすると来季もその姿をJ1のピッチで見る事になるかもしれない。
一方、残留争いを繰り広げたチームへの評価は明確だ。
入江徹監督、アルビレックス新潟で樹森大介監督の職を引き継ぎ、三浦文丈監督、横浜FCで四方田修平監督の後任となったが、どちらもシーズン途中の「監督交代による勢い」を活かせず、J2降格とともに今季で職を辞することになった。
20221年から湘南で指揮を取ってきた山口聡監督も今回のJ2降格に伴って退任する。ただ、その湘南での手腕を評価された山口監督はU-20日本代表監督への就任が決定的と報じられている。
その他では、J2時代から清水を指揮してきた秋葉忠宏監督、2024年にルヴァンカップを制した名古屋グランパスの長谷川健太監督も今季限りで退任する。
躍進を遂げた京都サンガの曺貴裁や川崎フロンターレの長谷部茂利監督、浦和レッズのマチェイ・スコルジャ監督、セレッソ大阪のアーサー・パパス監督については、正式発表はないが続投が濃厚と報じられている。
Furthermore, following the successive dismissals of Steve Holland and Patrick Kisnorbo mid-season, Marinos' manager Hideo Oshima achieved a remarkable J1 League survival through a late-season surge, leading to the announcement of his contract renewal for the upcoming season.
Of particular interest is Tokyo Verdy's manager, Hiroshi Jofuku, who stated after the final home match that he "doesn't know" about next season. The movements of the manager, who has led Verdy since their J2 days and built a team striving to establish themselves in J1, are a point of concern.
