However, in the second quarter, which began with a 31-31 tie, Doncic scored 7 points but committed 4 turnovers. Furthermore, Austin Reaves also had 4 turnovers, and the Lakers accumulated 10 turnovers in this quarter alone.
The Lakers, trailing by 14 points after allowing 35 points to the Suns, committed 5 turnovers in the third quarter. Three of those were by Doncic, extending the lead to 19 points.
