What is Teqball?
Teqball is a fast-paced sport played on a curved table where athletes use any part of the body except their arms and hands to return the ball.
The game blends elements of football and table tennis, rewarding precision, control and agility.
According to governing body FITEQ, the sport has grown rapidly across five continents, with official competitions now featuring singles, doubles and mixed doubles events.
When does the World Teqball Championships 2025 start?
The tournament will run from 3–7 December 2025. Preliminary rounds and knockout stages are scheduled across the first four days, with finals taking place on the closing day.
Where will the World Teqball Championships 2025 take place?
The 2025 edition will be held in Odorheiu Secuiesc (Székelyudvarhely), Romania, marking the city’s debut as host.
Matches will take place across two venues, the Rákóczi Center and Sala Sporturilor Odorheiu Secuiesc. The event will feature around 165 athletes from 41 nations.
