Sen triumphed over Ayush Shetty in the Men's singles quarter-finals, an uncommon all-Indian matchup. He secured the win in a 52-minute contest at the Quaycentre, Olympic Boulevard, with scores of 23-21 and 21-11.
Sen has now made it to the semifinals for the second consecutive time this year, following his appearance at the Japan Masters where he was defeated by Kenta Nishimoto. Lakshya is now India's sole contender for a title at this year's Australian Open.
