Is Lakshya Sen playing the Syed Modi International 2025?

Having recently won the BWF 500 title at the Australian Open 2025, the defending champion at the Syed Modi International, Lakshya Sen, will be missing out from the home tournament.

As the tournament in India is the last BWF event of the 2025 calendar, Sen has ended the season on a high and will be back in action in January at the Malaysia Open, barring any surprises.

PV Sindhu is also forced out with injury and has ended her season early.
