World Tennis League: Full schedule, teams and ticket details for tennis league image

The World Tennis League (WTL) made its India debut in Bengaluru this December, bringing its high-energy, entertainment-driven format to the SM Krishna Tennis Stadium from December 17 to 20.

Aussie Mavericks Kites won their first WTL title as they defeated the AOS Eagles 22-19 in the final on Saturday. 

The league will showcase a fast-paced four competitive sets, combining singles and doubles in a format where every game counts.

The League has attracted some of the biggest tennis talent. Along with Grand Slam champion Daniil Medvedev, Aussie maverick Nick Kyrgios, Gael Monfils of France, Paula Baodsa of Spain and Canada's Denis Shapovalov will feature in the event.

Indian stars Rohan Bopanna, Sumit Nagal, Yuki Bhambri, Ankita Raina and teen sensation Maaya Rajeshwaran will also take centre-stage.

World Tennis League format

Each team will face every other team once before the top two move to the final on December 20.

Every tie is made up of four sets - women's doubles, women's singles, men's doubles and men's singles. Unlike in Grand Slam or tour events, the result will not be decided by number of sets won but by number of games won in each tie.
