The World Tennis League is all set to make its debut in India. After three years in in the UAE, the global tournament will move to Bengaluru and will be held from December 17-20.
Tennis fans in India will be able to watch some of top stars from the world live, which includes players like Daniil Medvedev, Nick Kyrgios, Elena Rybakina and Paula Badosa.
Some of the popular Indian stars like Rohan Bopanna, Yuki Bhambri, Ankita Raina, Shrivalli Bhamidipaty, Maaya Rajeshwaran, and Sahaja Yamalapalli will also compete in the tournament

Speaking about playing in India for the first time, world No.5 Rybakina said: "I’ve heard so much about the tennis culture in India, and I’m thrilled to make my debut here with WTL. The league has an exciting format, and I’m ready to enjoy every moment on the court with my team."
The SM Krishna Tennis Stadium in Bengaluru, owned and operated by the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA), has been picked as the venue for the fourth edition of the WTL.

What is World Tennis League?
World Tennis League, co-founded by legendary Indian player Mahesh Bhupathi in 2022, is a mixed-gender team tennis tournament featuring players from across the globe. The first three editions of the tournament were held in UAE but the fourth edition will now be held in India.
What is the format of the World Tennis League?
Four teams will compete in a round-robin format, which will feature Men's Singles, Women's Singles and two doubles events. The top two teams from the round-robin stage will progress to the final.
