It may not be league MVP, Finals MVP or even In-Season Tournament MVP, but at the end of the day, the All-Star Game MVP is still a Most Valuable Player honor.

The trophy, which was officially changed to the NBA All-Star Game Kobe Bryant MVP in 2020 to honor the former Lakers superstar, has been handed out since the 1950s, going to a plethora of talented hoopers. Only a select few in NBA history have earned the All-Star Game MVP multiple times. Among those are greats of the game such as Shaquille O'Neal, Magic Johnson, Allen Iverson and even Bryant himself.

Here is more on the history of the NBA All-Star Game MVP and who has won the most MVPs.

Who has won the most NBA All-Star Game MVP awards?

It's fitting that one of the leaders for All-Star Game MVPs has the trophy now named after him.

Kobe Bryant and Bob Pettit share the record for the most NBA All-Star Game MVP trophies. They are the only two players to win the All-Star Game MVP four times.

LeBron James is right behind the pair, as the Lakers star has won the award three times. The 39-year-old is tied with Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal and Oscar Robertson, who also won the award three times.

Eight players have won the award twice: Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Allen Iverson, Magic Johnson, Karl Malone, Julius Irving, Isiah Thomas and Bob Cousy.
