Pawan Sehrawat was a part of the Tamil Thalaivas franchise in the ongoing PKL, which is the World's Premier Kabaddi League.
The star Indian raider's absence from the side created a lot of buzz over social media in the past week, with fans speculating a rift between him and the franchise.
In a recent development yesterday, the Tamil Thalaivas franchise officially confirmed that Sehrawat has been sent home and will no longer be a part of the remainder of the season. The franchise mentioned that the decision has been taken due to disciplinary reasons and misconduct by the Indian skipper.
Pawan Sehrawat tells fans he won't play Kabaddi if he was in the wrong
Sehrawat has been one of India's biggest Kabaddi stars in the past few years. The Indian skipper has played a crucial role in the side's success lately and was bagged by the Tamil Thalaivas for a whopping sum of 59.5 Lakhs in the PKL 12 auction.
The star raider has now come up with his own version of the story, as he has rubbished all the claims of indiscipline from the Thalaivas. The Indian skipper also went on to mention that he would never play the sport again if any such proof of potential misconduct is found against him.

"I was in the same team in season 9. When I underwent surgery, the owners helped me a lot, right from my surgery to me playing for India again...Arjun, my younger brother, and I made a lot of plans for the team, but because of one man in the management, we were not able to execute our plans," said Sehrawat.
Sehrawat is one of the biggest names in the field of Kabaddi with several achievements. His major PKL milestones include holding the record for the most raid points in a match (39).
He has also won the MVP award twice in the league's history, one of which came in season 6, when he led his side, Bengaluru Bulls, to their maiden title. Sehrawat is also one of the very few players to have entered the 1000 raid point club.
"The team has accused me of being indisciplined. I have been a part of the Indian side, and I very well know what discipline means...if any allegations from the team or even 1% of it is found to be true, I promise you all that I'll never play Kabaddi again. I stand by this, and I assure you that I wasn't wrong at any place," added the Indian captain.

Sehrawat's absence could also prove costly for the franchise. The side started the season poorly, losing two out of three games.
There has been no official statement or any kind of update from the PKL committee or any of the Indian Kabaddi officials on the matter as of now.
