The Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans are among the few teams with not too many areas to fix ahead of the mini-auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.

The Indian Premier League mini-auction will take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, December 16.

With a settled group of core players available, they will want to just work on the depth, to go a step further from last season's playoffs finish.

GT auction purse and squad gaps for IPL 2026

Following the releases and trades, GT do not have much to address and are well-rounded in most departments. They have a minimal purse of ₹12.90 crore.

The top-heavy team will only have a major area that they would like to cover - to replace Sherfane Rutherford to bat in the second half of the match after he was traded to Mumbai Indians.

Finisher for GT:

David Miller:  After his successful stint with the Titans previously, the Proteas finisher could return to GT to bat alongside Washington Sundar and Shahrukh Khan down the order.

During his time at GT, he has scored 950 runs at a strike rate of 145.25 in 38 innings. He is their third highest run-scorer after Gill and Sai Sudharsan.

There are no other concerns in the existing Titans squad. They can also pounce upon the opportunities to buy some other exciting domestic talent.
