Rohit Sharma is one of the finest Indian T20 cricketers in history and is also the captain of the most successful Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Mumbai Indians (MI).
The 38-year-old is only the second player after Virat Kohli to score 5,000 IPL runs for a single team after he scored a fluent 56 off just 37 balls in MI's victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in 2023.

Rohit has led MI to five IPL titles and was first handed the captaincy midway during the 2013 season after a poor start under Ricky Ponting.
'The Hitman' won MI their first IPL title in his first season as a captain in 2013 and remained the permanent captain of the franchise ever since,
Mumbai assembled a good team this year with the likes of Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult, and Suryakumar Yadav but faltered early on in the season as they were still figuring out their right combinations.
However, after losing four of the first five games, Rohit & Co. have stormed back to win seven of their next nine games to make it to the playoffs.
In IPL 2025, Rohit hasn't been at his best, scoring 329 runs in 13 innings at a strike rate of 147.33.
