Pooran has now revealed that the Indian Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav is one of the most difficult bowlers that he has faced in the Indian Premier League, and he wants to better his records against the bowler.

Who is the toughest bowler Nicholas Pooran has faced in IPL?

The West Indies star has fallen prey to the Indian magician Kudeep Yadav on several occasions. Kuldeep has dismissed Pooran on five occasions, and the batter averages just 16 against him.

"I mean toughest, there's quite a few, the one that got me out quite a few times is Kuldeep, definitely...Bumrah has got me a quite of times as well, but hopefully I will continue to figure out a way and next year will be different."

Kuldeep's record in the Indian Premier League has been stellar over the last few years. Ever since his shift to the Delhi Capitals, the bowler has been in his prime.

In the last two seasons, Kuldeep has picked up 31 wickets at an average of 23 and has also been economical. He, moreover, has been one of the key reasons for the Capitals' success in the Indian Premier League lately.

Kuldeep also played a key part for India in their title-winning campaign at the 2024 T20 World Cup. He has, however, failed to grab a spot in the playing XI lately, as India's focus under Gambhir has been on playing an extra batter.

His next big assignment will be the home Test against South Africa starting on November 14th. He is also expected to play a crucial role as India prepares to defend their T20 World Cup title at home next year.
