Former India international spinner R Ashwin has confirmed that Mumbai Indians have agreed on a trade deal with Lucknow Supergiants to sign national team all-rounder Shardul Thakur.
Ashwin was discussing IPL trade-offs ahead of the mini-auction next month, where he revealed the five-time champions are unlikely to release any player, although there is doubt over Deepak Chahar's future after they agreed to sign Thakur from LSG.

The IPL mini-auction will be held in December and ahead of the event, the teams are busy negotiating deals for players they want to sign outside of the auction.
The biggest news that has dropped in this period is Sanju Samson joining Chennai Super Kings in a swap deal that involved Ravindra Jadeja going to Rajasthan Royals.
The deal between CSK and RR are all but done and the official confirmation will come soon from both franchises.
