The Indian Premier League 2026 mini-auction is fast approaching as the event will be held in Abu Dhabi this year on December 16.
All 10 IPL teams have released their list of players they retained and the ones they have let go of ahead of the 19th season of the competition.
Kolkata Knight Riders head into the mini-auction with the highest purse value as they have released a host of their core players, including star batter Venkatesh Iyer and franchise legend Andre Russell.
They are followed by Chennai Super Kings, who created the most buzz in this year's trade window as they signed Sanju Samson in a trade-off in exchange for Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran, who went to Rajasthan Royals in a swap deal.

How many IPL trophies has each team won?
CSK and Mumbai Indians are the most decorated teams in the history of the IPL, with five titles each to their names. CSK have also reached the final the most number of times, as they have appeared in the grand finale in 10 out of the 18 seasons of the IPL.
The duo are followed by KKR, who have won it thrice, with their latest title coming in 2024. The reigning champions, on the other hand, are Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who lifted their maiden title in IPL 2025 and helped Virat Kohli break his jinx.
Deccan Chargers are the only champion team that no longer exists, as the former winners were dissolved in 2012.
