With that in mind, let’s take a look at the fastest centuries scored in IPL.

Who has scored the fastest 100 in IPL history?

The record for IPL’s fastest century is held by none other than The Universe Boss, Christopher Henry Gayle.

In a game against Pune Warriors India, on April 23, 2013, Chris Gayle embellished the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium by bringing up his century in just 30 balls. It’s a record that stands to this day.

Gayle went on to score an unbeaten 175 and helped the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) post 263-5 on the board, the highest total by a team in IPL history.

On April 12, SRH star Abhishek Sharma scored 100 off just 40 balls, to become the sixth fastest century scorer in IPL history.

During RR's clash against GT on April 28, 14-year-old wonderkid Vaibhav Suryavanshi hit the second-fastest century in IPL history as he scored a 100 of just 35 balls.
