Tottenham Hotspur, led by Tomas Frank are planning for a strong rebuild after finishing 17th in the Premier League points table last season.
They have intensified their approach in the last few days, signing two crucial players in Mohammed Kudus and Morgan Gibbs-White to bolster their attack.
Kudus joins Spurs from West Ham, whereas Gibbs-White makes the move from Nottingham Forest.
However, the Lilywhites aren't done yet, they are still in the market to sign a midfield general who would give them stability and control in the middle of the park.
Recent reports via GB News suggest that Tottenham are eyeing a move for Crystal Palace star midfielder Adam Wharton.
The 21-year-old is considered one of the brightest midfielders in England, and he could be a statement signing for Frank if the deal materialises.

Spurs are reportedly preparing a bid worth around £60m ($81.6m), whereas Palace are holding out for an asking price of at least £70m ($95.4m).
If the deal materialises, Wharton will join young, talented midfielders like Mikey Moore, Archie Gray, and Lucas Bergvall at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
What would Wharton bring to the Tottenham squad?
Wharton suffered an injury, which restricted him to playing only 20 matches in the 2024/25 Premier League.

The 21-year-old is predominantly a deep-lying playmaker, who is known for his passing range, vision and ball retention ability in midfield.
As per FBRef, Wharton averaged 4.03 shot-creating actions, 7.31 progressive passes, 1.37 interceptions and 1.84 clearances per 90 minutes last season.
Frank is a big admirer of the young midfielder as he wants someone who can give him control and stability in the middle of the park.
The 21-year-old has already made his international debut for England and was present in England's 26-man squad for the 2024 European Championships.
On the other hand, this would be a big blow for Crystal Palace as they have multiple players linked with departures this summer.
Apart from Wharton, Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi are the other two players heavily linked with moves to Arsenal and Liverpool, respectively.
It will be interesting to see if the reigning FA Cup allow so many players to leave Selhurst Park this summer.
