Tottenham endured a forgettable 2024/25 Premier League campaign and the club have backed new boss Thomas Frank in this summer's transfer market.
The Lilywhites made a strong statement with a dominant 3-0 win over Burnley in their Premier League opener for the new campaign.
Frank has also shown intent off the pitch, with the signings of Mohammed Kudus, Mathys Tel, Kevin Danso, Kota Takai, Luka Vuskovic and Joao Palhinha, with the latter joining on loan from Bayern Munich.
However, Spurs are still pushing for a more signings before the September 1 deadline with Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze strongly linked with the North London outfit.
They are also looking to sign a winger after missing out on Savinho, who is likely to stay at Manchester City, as Spurs were not ready to match City's £70m [$94.5m] valuation of the Brazilian.
After moving on from Savinho, there is now firm interest in AS Monaco starlet Maghnes Akliouche, as per The Independent.

The 23-year-old has been impressive for the Ligue 1 side, and Frank views him as an ideal solution for Spurs' right flank, and he's reportedly valued at £47m [$63.4m].
Who is Monaco star Maghnes Akliouche?
Akliouche grabbed headlines for his outstanding performances last season, but he's been featuring in Monaco's senior team since 2021, after breaking through their youth setup.

The 23-year-old netted seven goals and provided 12 assists from 43 matches last term across all competitions.
He was a big reason why Monaco finished third in Ligue 1 and qualified for the UEFA Champions League.
The Frenchman has started the 2025/26 season in the same form, scoring in the 3-1 win over Le Havre in their Ligue 1 campaign opener.
Akliouche is technically sound, with exceptional close control, vision and passing range. He's a strong dribbler who works hard off the ball, making him ideal for Frank's system.
His numbers from last season were eye-catching as he averaged 4.31 shot-creating actions, 6.15 progressive passes, 4.61 progressive carries and 1.74 tackles won per 90 minutes as per Fbref.
Frank desperately wants a new winger to replace Heung-min Son and Akliouche has the quality to come straight into the team.
