UEFA Europa League 2025/26 match schedule

The 2025/26 Europa League's league phase is set to commence in mid-September. Participating teams will compete in eight league-phase matches, aiming to qualify for the knockout stage.

The leading eight sides in the standings will progress directly to the Round of 16, receiving an exemption from the playoff stage. Clubs ranked 9th through 16th will move on to the knockout-playoff round, where they'll be seeded for the draw and matched against one of the teams finishing 17th to 24th. Those in positions 25th to 36th will be out of European contention and won't be able to move down to the Conference League.

Following that, the eight victors from the knockout-playoff stage will proceed to the Round of 16, where they'll face the eight teams that qualified directly. The knockout bracket will then be finalized through the final draw, and the remaining clubs will compete through the subsequent phases of the tournament to crown the 2025/26 Europa League champions!
