PSG are tracking Palmeiras midfielder Richard Rios as part of Luis Enrique’s push to bring fresh blood into his team.
The Spanish coach, who led PSG to a historic first-ever UEFA Champions League title in 2025, has reportedly approved the Colombian international as a potential summer signing, according to Telemundo Sports.
The 25-year-old midfielder has already earned 23 caps for Colombia and impressed with his strong showings in Brazil’s top flight. It's rumoured the French side, under the direction of sporting advisor Luis Campos, are prioritizing youth and versatility in this window, and Rios ticks both boxes.
In August 2024, Antena 2 Deportes reported PSG submitted a €20m [$23m] bid to Palmeiras.
However, UOL revealed Palmeiras rejected the offer outright, insisting the player was not for sale.
That didn’t end PSG’s interest and fresh sources suggest the Ligue 1 champions will launch a €30m [$34m] offer next month.

PSG are just focused on Rios
Despite Enrique’s admiration for Rios, sources close to the club have indicated he's not PSG’s top target this summer, as the look for another option to Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha and Joao Neves.
The Parisians are expected to reinforce across multiple areas, but they will do so carefully. No formal negotiations are believed to have taken place yet between PSG and Palmeiras and that keeps the door open for other targets on Luis Enrique's shortlist.
