Nigeria are aiming to bounce back from the disappointment of missing out on the 2026 World Cup with a strong showing at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles were beaten in the final of the previous tournament by hosts Ivory Coast and head coach Eric Chelle — potentially in his last competition at the helm — will have designs on going one better this time.
Tanzania are outsiders in Morocco but are hoping for a strong showing as they prepare to serve as co-hosts alongside Kenya and Uganda in 2027.
